The food and service were great! But when we arrived with a group of 13 at 7pm, we found that the buffet had already closed. Also, some A/C or a cool breeze would have been very welcome at a Pueblo restaurant in late June. We will be back though!

Crispy smothered chili relleno. Very good and 3.50 each. On the hot side as well as the salsa was a little hot but worth the trip.

The space was cozy, clean and relatively quite. The host/server was sweet but frazzled (they were a little busy) and she was by herself.  I called in my order but waited an additional 20 minutes on top of the 20 quoted. She did offer me water which was nice.

Onto the food! I ordered the Chile con queso, now granted I was warned with American cheese in the description, but the cheese in this is all wrong. Reminds me of Buffalo Wild Wings queso so if you like that... I will say the Chile part was spot on. I created my own combo. The bean burrito was fine but it's a bean burrito, so. The tamale was not bad. The Chile relleno was too spicy for my gringo taste buds so I could not say how it tasted other than a little too much breading to the pepper and cheese ratio. Maybe it will taste better after a few cocktails.

The service was excellent! The food however was only adequate.  I ordered the veggie burrito expecting it to be made with the ingredients listed on the menu ( zucchini , mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and avocado slices) what I was served was green peppers, onions, and tomatoes. It had almost zero flavor! My husband ordered the veggie fajitas and got green peppers, onions and tomatoes. Also not much flavor. If you're not going to serve what's on your menu, customers need to know before ordering!! The rating of 2 stars was for great service- not the food!

We came in based on the reviews, expecting a hole in the wall restaurant but it was a bad kind of hole in the wall place. We ordered the pork and beef plates. Everything was gross. The pork was probably 85% fat. The beef was smothered with a red Chile sauce but it was inedible. Beans were canned, the salsa definitely came from a food store can. Rice was dry. The only good thing was the warmed flour tortillas.
